I’m always looking for cool ways to recycle. With most music being transferred digitally and purchased on cds, cassette tapes have lost their flare. Italian designer, Marcella Foschi has created these awesome wallets made out of old cassette tapes from different countries. They’re very cute but a little on the pricey side, about 40 bucks a pop.

People have figured out how to engineer the actual audio tape from the cassettes into something called sonic cloth.
Some designers have been turning this fabric into clothing, upholstery and blankets.
It’s a pretty sick idea. I can’t wait to see what people think of next.
