Born Ruffians
This three piece Canadian band describes their sound as “the best they could come up with”. To be a bit more descriptive, I would say their music is composed of playful lyrics and the classic guitar, bass and drums assortment. Their beats are up-lifting and create a fun listening experience that’s filled with hollers, echos and is free of the typical bells/whistling that comes with most indie artists. So far they’ve only released one album, “Red, Yellow & Blue” in 2008 and they have one more on the way to be released sometime this spring. Although the band has seemed to form their own sound, I believe their next album will help them create a more solid presentation of their musical talent.
